A biennial nationwide conference for Antique John Deere Tractor collectors, restorers & enthusiasts
Gathering of the Green 2026
Instead of having the next Gathering of the Green in 2024, we are planning our next event for 2026.
As they say on the radio, stay tuned for more announcements including dates, location and related details.
The Gathering Planning Board and the dozens of volunteers thank you for your support and kindness over the years – you folks are the inspiration that keeps us excited about planning the next conference.
We look forward to seeing you in 2026!
Gathering of the Green Planning Board
Thank you, if you attended the March 2022 Gathering of the Green Conference in the Quad Cities. The planning board would like to thank our 1148 full conference registrants, 1253 guests that came for a day or two, the 68 vendors that filled the RiverCenter, our committed volunteers and planning committee chairs, and 55 workshop leaders that made our 2022 reunion of John Deere enthusiasts from 32 states, and 5 countries an amazing experience. We especially want to recognize everyone that attended and participated in the Fun Auction on Friday, and the Banquet Auction on Saturday. We were able to generate a sizeable amount of funds to start planning the next Gathering of the Green thanks to your generosity.
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to our mailing list and be the first to know about the next Gathering of the Green Conference dates and plans.
The planning board would also love to hear from you regarding ideas for workshop content, or other comments or ideas for future gatherings.
The RiverCenter will be just chock full of John Deere tractors and implements.
Just like going to school except that EVERY subject has something to do with John Deere tractors.
Things to do for those of you who tagged along and aren't necessarily interested in John Deere tractors
This is the place to go to get parts and services for GUESS WHAT? - John Deere tractors.
The RiverCenter is located just two blocks away from the banks of the Mississippi River in the heart of downtown Davenport, Iowa. The venue is connected to the Hotel Blackhawk, Radisson Quad City Plaza and historic Adler Theatre. The RiverCenter is one of largest meeting/convention facilities in the Quad Cities and is conveniently situated near attractions, restaurants, pubs and nightlife. Parking is available on-site and within close proximity.
The RiverCenter is the perfect facility for meetings, conventions, trade shows, athletic events and all other special events and banquets. The facility offers 100,000 square feet of flexible space along with two column-free exhibit halls. In addition, the venue features 10 expandable meeting rooms and an executive board room. RiverCenter services include event coordination, catering, utilities, in-house audio-visual services and decorating.
The Gathering of the Green is not affiliated with the John Deere company.... However, they do tolerate our presence on the internet.
Before Covid, they offered tours in conjunction with our gathering. We can hope that they may offer them again in the future.
